Did you know that New Jersey is one of the states most vulnerable to sea- level rise? Experts say sea-level rise poses severe risks to our coastal communities and businesses. Whether you own property on the coast or are interested in the potential effects of climate change on the New Jersey economy, please come join us for our next C-Change Conversation with Rutgers University Professor of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Robert Kopp.
Dr. Kopp directs the university’s Coastal Climate Risk and Resliance initiative and is also a lead author of Economic Risks of Climate Change: An American Prospectus, as well as numerous academic reports on climate change. He is a member of the National Academies Committee on Assessing Approaches to Updating the Social Cost of Carbon, and a contributing author of the IPCC 2014 Fifth Assessment report.
